Visiting Options

The park is divided into several areas, each with specific access rules:

  • Zone C: Free access area on all paths and in all open or unenclosed spaces, available all year round during public opening hours. Pets allowed only on a leash.
  • Zone B: Regulated area accessible on foot or by bike only on marked paths and trails. The Gombo Avenue is freely accessible up to the Villa gate only on holidays. Pets allowed only on a leash.
  • Zone A: Regulated area accessible with a ticket or guided tours only on foot or via means provided by the park on marked paths and trails. Pets are not allowed.

Opening Hours

Opening hours vary by season. The San Rossore Estate is open:

  • From April 1 to October 31: 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM
  • From November 1 to March 31: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

  • Public Transport: You can reach the San Rossore Estate using public transportation, with local buses or trains to Pisa Centrale and Pisa San Rossore stations, followed by a short taxi or bus ride.
    The local public transport line 26, Sesta Porta – San Rossore, connects the city center with the San Rossore Park. The service operates year-round on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
