My name is Michele Colombini, and I am a Certified Environmental Hiking Guide, licensed under Tuscany Regional Law L.R. 42/2000.
My mission? To guide you in discovering breathtaking places through single-day and multi-day hikes, adventurous trekking tours, food-and-wine journeys, and nature-based travel — always with deep respect for the ecosystem.
My Story: A Life Outdoors
My love for nature began early, at just 8 years old, when I joined the scouts of the C.N.G.E.I. group in Pisa. For 14 years, I refined my hiking and survival skills, nurturing my passion for outdoor exploration.
The Apuan Alps and the Alpine range became my natural “training ground,” where I experienced unforgettable adventures. I love high mountains and summit views where the world feels endless. Yet every journey is an adventure — backpacking trips that lead me to discover not only landscapes, but also the deeper essence of each place.
Beyond exploration, I am passionate about nature photography and practice meditation and Reiki, embracing a holistic and mindful approach to experiencing the natural world.
Monte Pisano: A Paradise Close to Home
Monte Pisano, my hiking “home,” is a magical place just a short distance from Pisa and Lucca. These mountains rise like a natural terrace over Tuscany, offering spectacular views of the plains, the sea, the Apennines, and the Apuan Alps.
Every trail here tells a story, with fascinating flora and breathtaking panoramas. I have also had the honor of working on trail planning and signage projects to enhance the area, specifically for the RET (Tuscan Hiking Network) trails of the Municipality of San Giuliano Terme (PI) and the Via degli Acquedotti itinerary.
